I am sorry! I am sorry that I might have spread misinformation about ASD and crime. I did not know that he was a fraudster. He seemed like a very nice guy and he said that he is a professor of psychology. I sometimes seen him teaching students in university. I emailed him twice, he was such a nice ...

But a few of the things you mentioned are things that autistic people commonly experience. A good place to start would be to do the The Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ) Test. It can be don...

PTSD yes, OCD no...though I'm not sure about it. What I suspect might be OCD might just be an aspect of the PTSD, more maybe it does qualify as a disorder all on its own. To my knowledge, I was never prescribed medication for my PTSD. Maybe it's just the mildness or specifics of it that don't neces...

FranzOren, I think you are giving Sam Vaknin's insights far more attention than they deserve. I fear this video of his (or anything else he has produced) is more likely to confuse you than help you understand the relationship between autism and crime. A quick internet search of Sam Vaknin exposed hi...

Trauma is is a pretty common experience for folks on the spectrum. It's normal for it to take time (sometimes years) to find the right combination of medications as it requires some trial and error to find the right cocktail. Be patient and follow your psychiatrist's guidance with trying different m...

The DSM-5 indicates support levels should't be used for that purpose, but they are anyway.

Lower functioning people usually can't do that. Aspies may be overrepresented in advocacy, but that's also because there ...
