I suppose I am a bit of a photographic geek. I have two (pentax) film based SLRs with about six lenses, A (digital SLR) Nikon D50 with 3 lenses. I have a little Olympus for when I can’t be bothered to take a big camera with me. I also have a few collectable cameras but I don’t use these much unless ... |

The thing is what ever you do it has to fit in with your personality. Like when you see a politician wearing a t-shirt you think they are a cringe worthy trying to be something they are not. What style and cool are depends upon your age and location. To teenagers and to a lesser extent the rest of s... |

One on one sessions are very stressful. Imagine being stuck in a lift with your boss for a couple of hours and them going over your mistakes and telling you how you could of avoided making them. It is like a pressure cooker where neither party has a chance to escape and consider their actions until ... |

Boffin / Bod = some one who is clever, like a scientist. The you'r not a boffin because you are not good at spot statement is just pure rubbish. It makes no sense, just ignore it. Not sure what to say to help you. If you are finding it hard talk to a teacher / prefect / librarian that you trust is p... |

I'm worried about having so many doors locked from the inside; that's a fire hazard. Try talking to your local fire department. Explain to them the issue with your son and they will almost certainly have some one who will be able to come round and discuss how to make your home safer. The might also... |

I think all this depends on how you define creativity. I think very few people are genuinely creative. Some people have a skill for an art, like painting, or composing but while what they seems to be new, it is nothing of the sort. It is simply a rearrangement of their influences. May be to an exten... |

Assuming that nothing can be 100 percent accurate. Some time they will kill an innocent person.
Do the people here who support the death penalty support the killing of innocent people? If so what makes them better than a murderer? |

On my Uni. Cource we have a system of peer review (a crit) where we present to the rest of the department. So I have developed a fair bit of strategy on it. As for receiving criticism, it all depends on how they say it. If it seems to be a personal attack on you, justify your decision making process... |

Though I never had to share a room I did live in an apartment with some poor sound insulation and people who liked loud music in my first year at uni. Ear plug are the way to go, I used to ‘borrow’ some from the workshop in our department. |

At my old company some one was paid $9 000 000 a year ($4687.5 an hour), another person got $3 000 000 a year ($1562.5 an hour). |

Coming for a pretentious design angle It is nothing new the Romans copied the Greeks. The renaissance copied them both. The Victorians copied gothic. Some people live in mock Tudor houses. It best it is aspiring to the perceived virtues of a previous age. At worst it is am attempt to appear somethin... |

America – lots of guns – lots of murders Scotland – very few guns – very few murders Which is safer? People just don’t go out and randomly kill people. They use violence to get what they want, i.e. in a mugging. IT is far safer just to give them whatever they want rather than to fight them. Attackin... |
