I'm divorced, and currently not looking. I discovered that I am less stressed single than I was when I was married. Sure, there were some happy moments there, but not enough to save it. I didn't get out of it at first, because I didn't think I would find anyone else, but I learned later on that eve...

If It Bleeds, by Stephen King. For those WP members who might recall that I had already reported reading this book, I must confess that I had set it down because I really hated one of the stories therein. I've since picked it up, again, and have found the story in question must have just been a flu...

Hm, it's been 3 years since I left my (now ex-) husband. For the first time I'm starting to feel a little nostalgia for our marriage and his company... Looks like it took this long to get over the trauma of it all 8O I hear you. I don't know if it's true that time heals all things, but time definit...

Love that book. Picture This by Heller is also good, though not quite as, I think.

I am married, but unfortunately we are close to divorce. Ditto, but I can't actually afford divorce or separation. The system has me trapped…just like it's designed to do true, i mean, that's me too  or otherwise opposition to gov handouts in exchange for giving up all traumasome freedom v...

Er, hi. My name is Charley, I'm 48, male, live in California. I should say right up front that I'm married and have 2 kids. My wife is NT and we have not been romantic partners for sometime, but we get along well and stay married for our children. So, I'm probably not really what most folks reading ...

Thanks everyone. I will check those things out. I'm learning more every day. I don't have any Aspie friends IRL that I can talk to, so these forums are a real gold mine for me.

Hi, just getting started. I'm glad our planet is so populated, but the volume of topics and threads is a bit overwhelming. I'm 48, recently diagnosed, a parent (of 2 NTs), and a teacher. Much obliged to anyone pointing me in a useful direction.
