As a kid I devoured animated movies and was frequently hearing the lyrics wrong. For example, "we two run around all day!" ("free to run around all day", from Lion King)

Good day world! This is Floraptor, here to talk about the true protagonist of the Despicable Me cinematic universe, Gru. This is a character essay, not a film review. Also, spoiler alert, but come on, if you haven’t seen Despicable Me , what are you doing? Gru starts as a megalomaniac whose only int...

You probably have heard the news, whether it's from YouTube reviewers, Discord memes or someone who hates themselves told you: the new Mulan SUCKS. I get it. Let me help you. First off, let me explain the Golden Trio themselves, Harry, Ron and Hermione. None of them started off as all-powerful wizar...

I rewatched retro animated Disney films, including some I watched for hours on end when I was younger. I'm also going to binge the DC animated films when I have the time. I'm not going to see the new Mulan where she is a Mary Sue written by American-supremacist people. Everyone on the Internet says ...

I really can’t stomach Disney taking their animated classics and doing live action versions. Just goes to prove how bankrupt they have become, recycling their classic properties with live action. Yeah, you're right. The only good recreations of films are King Kong (the 2005 one is better than the 1...

I'm currently in the middle of playing A Link to the Past on my Switch Online (I'm Generation Z) and my Link is going by "Simba". Just in the middle of stealing some rupees to get some good stuff in return. I have more memories of Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword though, because I grew ...

In 2005, Peter Jackson's recreation of King Kong was released to the public. Around 14 years later, Disney released an atrocious Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, that was part of their "everything old is new again" idea they got because Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp was popular I...

My favorite Disney movie was always tied with Lady and the Tramp and Dalmatians. Other S-tier Disney films for me were The Fox and the Hound, Bambi, The Jungle Book and Oliver & Company.

What is your favorite Disney movie, and what are the ones you consider S-tier (your other favorites)?

I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. James Cameron's film has a lot more in common to the Disney film than you would initially think. Lady and Rose are both living in the uppe-rclass of society, living their lives very proper and having rich families. Tramp and Jack are young men with no money, l...
