I am not 'anti-cure' I would not take a cure myself, but the doesn't mean that other people can't.
But I do agree that autistic children would not get much of a say, the parents would most likely have them cured anyway.

I also really dislike when I hear people go "I work with autistic people, so I know all about autism." Usually, they know very little. Argh, me too! I sometimes comment on youtube videos and comment on my own experience or if the behavior is like my own, I will give some explanations... they always...

Sarcasm is 50/50 with me. If the tone of voice changes, I know it's sarcasm, but people at work wont change their voice tone, and thus it goes over my head, I just have a blank look on my face trying to decipher if they where joking or not.

Their work at home has no bearing on their wage, so why bring it up? I know couples who divvy up the housework evenly where possible and prudent. But the home-care mothers provide isn't a job paid for by money(If it is paid for it is by personal non-financial gains), so why would you even bring it up in the context of equal wage?
