I think this is an interesting and important conversation, however... The world in this current time and place is not ready to have this conversation. No matter how many studies we have that provide evidence for things like height being a massive impact in a male's overall success, no one wants to h...

Yep that’s how it is, I mean, to be specific, in my head I sound how other people sound but not in reality. Yes sounding angry is often what people tell me. Or sounding like an as*hole. Volume, again, I sound like I have volume control in my head but I don’t in reality. What sucks is that people nev...

This topic is of interest to me because throughout my life people have often accused me of thinking I'm better or smarter than they are. I've never claimed to be smart, or even competent. However, the same people who note that I have terrible self-esteem and tell me that I am, in fact, not stupid, w...

Hey folks, Just because I like to be clear about things I'm not diagnosed and really don't know if I'm on the spectrum or not. That out of the way, I'm writing this post here because my research about the spectrum indicates that some of the particular features which plague my life are common to ASD....

Hey, I like to be straightforward so before you go on to read my post keep in mind I'm not officially diagnosed and therefore may not actually be on the spectrum. Being obsessed with my facial features, and to some degree, symmetry, in a very negative way, was a phase I also went through, I believe...

Thank you for the information, jimmy! much appreciated. This explanation could well explain it as one thing I am absolutely certain of is that I am the most stressed-out individual I know of in my life. This is something that professionals like doctors, chiropractors, anyone i’ve gone to see has com...

Thank you for that comprehensive list, Jimmy, I appreciate you sharing it with me. There's definitely a huge number of those things that I strongly relate to, but as you say, can't get a diagnosis here! For now I'll remain an uncertain goblin rather than an ASD goblin. One aspect I come across a lot...

Hey, just to be completely transparent I have no idea if I'm truly on the spectrum or not. That said.. I've always had trouble communicating with my family. I'll have a great pleasant conversation, and then it will come up later for example. That's when they tell me what I said was inappropriate and...

Apologies for rambling on about myself even more than I already have, but in trying to recall and summarize details about my life and experiences I forgot about one of the most significant and long-lasting challenges I've had and I wanted to know if people who are on the spectrum or have surrounding...

RE Myer Briggs introversion vs extroversion: The only point in extroversion I relate to is that some people call me an extrovert. I relate to most points under Introversion, however, i’ve only met a few people who fall under the true extrovert category. In my experience if you speak to most people t...

I want to thank you all for taking both the time to read my long-winded post and for taking the time to reply. I really value your input and advice. A good argument for assessment was made in that in may be worth it just to stop asking myself; I hadn't thought of that! As for my extroversion, I don'...

Hi folks, For about a year, I've been internally debating as to whether or not I have Asperger's syndrome. I've watched YouTube videos of self-proclaimed "aspies" describing what they experience, and sometimes what they have to say is more or less a description of what I experience, and wi...
