Each human has such a unique set of circumstances that I don't believe there is any way to objectively compare one of us to any other.

Sometimes it's just like my body remembers and my mind doesn't. I got much better once I realized what it was and started giving myself space to feel it. The advantage of feeling it, is that it is the thing as it actually is, without the story I'm attaching to it. It's reality, not the potentially ...

I also have murky, memories that come and go. I think this is partly due to aphantasia, partly due to trauma. It is, in my view, possible to heal from trauma. For me the healing I have achieved so far has largely been about accepting reality. Past experience is fixed as far as the reality of what ha...

Growing up with parents who shamed me to manipulate me into behaving as they liked caused me to internalize that shame. Taking on an image of myself as shameful and not worthy. This resulted in me feeling very much like you describe. I've found that talking about the shame with other humans and in g...

Processing loss happens at different rates for everyone. There is no "right" way to do it. The process will happen at its own pace regardless.
I'm sorry for your loss.

A few other ideas: Sunlight Nature (even a walk in a park can help) Feeling the feelings in your body. (Body scan meditation). If you are simply feeling what is happening, it is impossible to be thinking about what is happening. Thinking is usually a hindrance rather than a help. I hope you feel bet...

^ There is a genre of internet media clips called "Watts Wave". Recordings of Alan watts added to a backing of some spiritual/trippy music.
He certainly "got it", in some important way. Pity he couldn't heal all his own issues.

I always used to see myself as younger and more immature than everyone else. Also that i gravitated to people who, at least seemed like, they could look after me. This has changed as I've grown into myself. Where the developmental disorder held me back, I feel I have managed to develop myself "...

As others have said:
The universe is meaningless process.
Make your own meaning.
The spiritual journey is a journey of understanding yourself, not something external.

As people get closer to the end they sometimes start to see through some of their sh#t. Start to realise where they made mistakes. It may happen in a big way or a little way. I would try to take her word for it while not getting too excited that she has changed. Change is hard work.

While I can understand metaphor, I struggle with poetry. Listening to something in real time I cannot process fast enough to get the meaning. It becomes word salad. Somehow song lyrics are easier. Why is that? Perhaps because they are usually less of a continuous, dense flow of words? Does the music...

Hi. Just seen this. I hope you are still with us. There is no way to end your life without passing your pain on to those who love you. I know how f@#king terrible things can be. But passing it on is worse. If you just manage to keep breathing, things will change. They always do. Nothing can last for...
