When celebrities line Anna Nicole Smith die, or Brittany goes off the deep end, we need to show it on the news not as a tragedy, but as what happens when you are a MORON!! ! They should say, "This is what happens when you do drugs, act irresponsibly, and allow yourself to be consumed by the fictiona... |

All arguments against God and religion can be aptly, and humorously, be summorized by quoting George Carlin (not exact quotes here): "People believe in angels? sh**! Where the f*** are all the zombies?? "It's all part of God's plan. If you pray for something you want, you f*** up the plan. Wha... |

I think it's funny that people are rationalizing that the coolest, best looking, and most socially normal male character on the show is an aspie. If he is, then we are the anti-aspie. ************************************** People who are, or think they are, aspies love to project there traits ... |

chicken & egg - correlation does not imply a causative effect. By that way of thinking, human beings have no causative affect on global warming. Anything we do to the environment is just a correlation that does not imply anything concrete. I can find factual studies about it to back either side... |

If you are failing multiple written personality tests, your suspect. If you fail once or twice, ok. If more, then you are too lazy to research how to answer the questions properly. There are plenty of boks to read on the topic such that you can pass the personality test for a salesman at one company... |

, but most of the work should be done as high level as possible; Most of what work? The problem is the higher the level and abstraction of the language, the slower and bigger the program. If you want a fast program, you'd sure as heck better not want to use Java or any other high-level language tha... |

I'm glad to see more than one person defending the not-an-aspie side of the argument. People want to believe these actors are aspies because it makes them feel better about themselves....not a healthy or lasting way to achieve self-confidence. I'm beginning to post more and more about how we need to... |

I think it's funny that people are rationalizing that the coolest, best looking, and most socially normal male character on the show is an aspie. If he is, then we are the anti-aspie. He has no social anxiety. He's very tactful with his words. He has no problem interpreting facial expressions.... |

Others could be shown to play a limited role: increased imprisonment se... |

I notice that you did not comment on the trusting my Doctor part, and no one has yet managed to provide links to studies with any conclusive information that says this causes health problems later. Do you really believe that mj had absolutely no affect on a person's health? "This link has be... |

Sorry, but you keep on plugging C++, which I believe is just about the worse thing that ever happened to programming. Maybe I'm not experienced enough to understand how that could possibly be? A good language certainly should not make a user "THINK about their code". That's a disaster, unless the l... |

As stated before, only 2% of the world population are atheists. People of your religion have killed millions of people with unspeakable tortures. Sorry for my rant. I've heard too many people in programming talk about how they hate C++. The real reason is they don't want to have to THINK about their code. They'd rather have a slow language like Java do the work for them so they don't have to think. I just don't see why it's so difficult to ta... |

How do you know this girl is an "aspie'??? Do you know intimate details about the innerworkings of her mind??? I would ask myself these questions before I start diagnosing her! 1. Let's say she's a social misfit...that does NOT mean she AS! 2. Let's say she also dresses funny and seems to get embara... |

As it stands, I think I will trust my Doctor and my personal experience on this one. How can you trust your personal experience? If it's part of your daily routine then your perceptions are skewed, you aren't seeing reality or yourself as you really are. You may not think so...but that's because yo... |

I'f like to take the opposite tack. The evolution of tools means we dont have to fuss with pushing registers onto the stack each time we need to write a loop. I like details. I LOVE assembler. But continuously reinventing the wheel doesnt make sense. Integerated circuits were created so you dont ha... |
