Hi, His limited social involvement may be one of the causes of his hopeless feelings. But I may be prejudged, or not completely understand the complexity of the situation. If I may ask, is your son a member of a sports club or other community? This may help him get a new friend, or at least increase...

Often also because sometimes people can come across as very rude (sorry for my English) if they spea...

I was taught - and still believe - that learning speed doesn't really
determine if someone is stupid or smart. Only he who doesn't want to learn
(more) doesn't get any smarter. Never said twas easy.

Here is the Word. There are no good governments or form of government. There never have been and there never will be. There are only Bad governments and Worse governments. Governing the human race is like trying to herd cats. It cannot be done very well. Then what is your alternative? Back to the c...

I think a lot can be expained in terms of inability and unknowingness. Inability from the person in the spectrum; unknowingness from the neurotypical. Our hamperments (<-- maybe that's the inapropriate word for it) to communicate emotions leads to miscommunication. I haven't been in any relationship...

I have had small difficulties with this as well in the past, but surpassed them. Now I'm only left with problems looking at myself as a figurative expression.

Coming out -- well, this is my experience -- has different effects on different people. Some people will not take you serious anymore or even call you wack. Those who love you will accept, but to understand is another matter completely. Those trying to understand you, may find it hard. Remember that...

But along the way, at some time, you have to stop thinking like an AS. AS have some sensory integration dysfunctions and special intelligence ("hidden intelligence"), because they use certain neural circuits for analytical and sensory process. If you want to be truly NT in some of your social mind,...

If these robots will be there to stay on earth, they need the mechanisms to sustain themselves. If their metals or whatever materials oxidate or wear off, they need some mechanism to renew themselves or recycle or reproduce. So each individual robot has a self-interest in maintaining itself. If each...

Lets power through this. If anyones anyone can come up with the meaning of life, it'll probably be an aspie or autie (or speckie for anyone on the spectrum). So post the first meaning that comes into your head. I'll start. Instead of making an attempt to give an answer, you could ask yourself Why i...

42 apparently was an error message or a wrong answer to the Ultimate Question of life, the universe and everything. However by the time Deep Thought, the super computer, had given the number, nobody knew anymore what the Ultimate Question linked to the Ultimate Answer actually was. An even more adva...
