i've never been big into friends but when i had kids i then found myself trying. I get on with mot people (even though they dont get me) i can be visited in my house by aspie people but freak if "NORMAL" women came around- especially uninvited. Its too much out of my control. |

jaxon (turned 3 in july) sees a speech therapist. Beacause he desn't like the tiny rom we play in he has now learnt to say no...car.... meaning obviously he wants to leave in the car. The s.therapist treats him like a baby and we have since had words....she now talks slightly more grwn up to him. Ba... |

Pet wise yes pets help....we have dog fish rabbit and cat who yesterday had 3 kittens so at the moment being special helper to the kittens and our mum cat is great for her... she rushes in from school to see them. my 3yo AS son was NON_VERBAL he used all sound effects grunts etc "perfect" from a young age and all he could say was "BAA" which meant help-mum-dad-me...everything basically. Literally the weeks before he turned 3 he said mum and now 4 months later he says 10-15 words and i say he was non verball n... |

my daughter has her imaginary friend called Oscar. She has had him for 5 years now. She is almost 8 and he is always present. Fantastic.....my son just said mum the week before he turned 3 (2 months ago) he has now gone from baa and mum to almost 10 wods...when you worry for sooo long about no vocab isn't it just fantastic to hear those words.....i am just dying fot the "i love you" |

8O hi everybody....been checking out WP for a while now and decided its time i introduced myself...
