I'll definitely keep reading all I can, because I want to understand more. And also, I was looking for an LGBT+ autism group too, so it's nice that we have a home somewhere. Thank you for the welcomes!

fun fact : I was also on Risperidone until 6 months ago when I switched to Aripiprazolo. It was the best medication I ever took, i had to switch due to my liver complications ( in the end it was my diet not Risperidone) I didn't know Risperidone was bad for your liver! 8O I kind of like it too, but...

So my journey for self-discovery actually started well over a year ago... First I started with other things, such as my gender (I'm trans)...then I kind of got sick and had to deal with bipolar this year... and then when I got medicated, something weird happened... I didn't get entirely better. I wa...

reply to 3- My counsellor tell me that I have some symptoms regarding asperger but diagnosis in adult age is difficult, what should I do then? I'm also bipolar and autistic, but I have "bipolar with psychotic features" instead of schizoaffective. At various times I wanted to get tested for autism but it wasn't until after my bipolar took over that I ended up really wanting to get tested for ASD. I feel like this is a really commo...

I was so convinced by it. now I'm supposed to disappear from this forum I guess :x You can have both. I do. Is there any way you can get tested formally by a psyc...

Just like you, I'm on an antipsychotic medication. I'm on Risperidone and found it helped. I talked to my temp therapist and he advised me it works for autistic people in a variety of ways but the main one is aggression. I was originally put on it to combat bipolar mania, but I've also noticed it sl...
