I agree with Serissa. Celebrity crushes are pointless and the cult of celebrity is a distraction from things that are actually important to us.

I thought it was good.

I liked it's "not quite redeemed" ending.

Actually, I'm glad I went to a co-ed school. I spent two years in a school that was mostly boys and I hated it due to the lack of women there. I always got along better with women than with men, as most of my friends have been women.

We have this topic already, with the What are you listening to thread. Mods please lock this one. Now that's just rude! He didn't know there was one. And given how threads can be buried on these pages, this person can't be faulted. But saying "please lock this thread", that's just mean and really r...

I drive a Subaru Legacy Outback station wagon, which is my family's car. Aside from still getting the hang of some rules of the road and learning patience, I think I'm doing pretty well. I do have a compulsion to never go faster than 65 mph on the highway though, which angers all the speeders. Jerks.

I made what I think was a mistake in the long run; I never told anyone at my high school about it. So I was there acting all odd and there was no real reason given for it. I think that in the long run, that didn't help me all that much. Now that I'm getting back togther with my friends in high schoo...

But if we could all read minds, why we would we even talk to each other? Yes, it could be helpful for us. But if we could learn all this about a person, why would we even bother to talk to them if we can just sit back at a distance and probe their mind and gradually learn everything that's essential...

Don't forget Emily Dickinson. J. R. R. Tolkien is another name suspected of it as well.

I received a nice pair of noise-canceling headphones made by Sony a couple of years ago. They work really well in a car, and even while vacuuming. They cost about $50 I think. I don't know if they're made anymore. They don't work in an environment where there is a lot of air movement though.

There's a teenager at our church who looks like Orlando Bloom. I did a double-take the first time I noticed him. I think he was just visiting, because I've never seen him since that one time. And there are these two men who are regular parishioners who look just like Mel Gibson and Richard Gere use...

I've seen Orlando Bloom in other movies. I have yet to see him display much talent; in fact, I always think that he's barely distingishable from the scenary. Johnny Depp ran circles around him in Pirates of the Caribbean[i] and he didn't even seem to notice it. Than again, Johnny Depp is a great act...

It would be cool to read other people's thoughts. It would be helpful. But in the long run, what then would even be the point in talking to someone? You could just read their mind and find out exactly what they're thinking. You would be able to know everything that they know instantly. It would make...
