I can walk in a straight line, but only very slowly. Otherwise, I tend to drift towards one side. When I was a little kid my mother used to have to stop me from walking into the street and such.

It's really annoying that a whole bunch of kids who used to think hurting themselves was cool now think having a disease is cool.
If I had to pick one they're more like, I'd go with Münchausen syndrome.

I think it's pretty easy to get depressed when we're basically wired differently than almost everyone else.

I think it's just the easiest way to filter stressful things. I know that if I'm in a situation where I have to focus on something stressful, I'll wind up leaving that situation very tired. If I'm not forced to pay attention but I'm still surrounded by stressful things - such as at school - I'll end...

If AS exists only as a way to say that people fail at socializing, the argument could be made - I don't know if it has been made; I didn't read the whole topic - that depression exsists as a way to say that people are just sad.

I'm pretty bad at picking up subtlety in conversation unless I'm really forcing myself to pay attention (almost never the case) so I'm terrible at telling if someone is insulting me or just joking.
