One of my main hobbies is writing, and it has been for several years. Before that, I told stories and played pretend. My whole thing is "Brain won't stop thinking," and I'm always thinking about a story at some point in the day for the next couple hours minimum. I also can't stick to the s...

Sometimes I have the urge to just away in place, or it feels right to do a little dance. Other times when I'm happy and I get really excited, I like to shake my arms and clap my hands a lot. Sometimes I want to be touched, and other times when the idea of being touched makes me recoil. Sometimes tex...

One thing I noticed is that I have a weird pattern with certain foods or drinks. I don't like super sour things, and they tend to leave a slight tingle after. I love fried chicken but I find really big pieces with the bones in unsettling and unappetizing. I also hate the texture of fat in meats like...

Well I'm glad that the things aren't as small as I thought. Makes me feel better about my reactions. Thankfully I remember a lot of the fanfic too, so I could write my own thing with similar elements. And I can make it with my comfort character too! I just really hate it when I'm doing something or ...

Does anybody else get really upset, specifically more than necessary, at little things? Some examples; I wanted to read a piece of fanfiction that I really enjoy, and I found out it was deleted. I genuinely almost started crying. Heck, I'm still upset! Another thing is my dog. If she doesn't go to t...

Woah, I didn't know expecting certain behaviors from others was a sign! I thought I was just being weird! And surprises. I hate surprises with a passion. Just tell me, I need to mentally prepare. And the personal space one really got me. I actually overcompensated and now I stand farther away from p...

The quizzes mostly just helped clue me in on what might be going on, and I was bored and thought they seemed interesting. Accomodations aren't even something I considered when I wanted to pursue a formal diagnosis, and I don't think I want to pursue them. I've actually wanted a diagnosis or at least...

I could have ADHD or OCD, but the Avoidant traits I have seem more like a learned behavior, because I was never like that until I was in school for a few years. At the very least, they seem more like a manifestation of my anxiety. I've actually taken the two quizzes already, but I retook them for ac...

I've never thought about thanking someone before. In this case, I could say "Thank you for giving me some space." We're fine now, and I feel a lot less upset, but I definitely want to bring it up to my therapist. I've done a lot with curbing my anxiety, and have been pretty successful, now...

Does anyone else have trouble regulating emotions? I almost can't regulate them at all. My moods can switch so fast and from very little, but they can stay for hours at a time, especially bad ones. Today, I was wearing headphones and my mom told me to take them off. I got mad before I realized what ...

I don't think I've had one? I've had moments of my life (I call them blackout moments) where everything goes black and I'm a disembodied conscious floating in the void for a second before I'm shoved back into my body. This saved me from being stung by a jellyfish but also made me scream at my mom fo...

I can't actually smell most things. No clue why, it might be the times I got hit in the face with a basketball or it might be natural, cause my sense of taste is fine. I avoid really sweet smells anyway, because it makes my nose burn and it gets stuck in my mouth and throat. I mostly stick to more &...

God, I get that. I moved in early March after my grandpa (who we lived with at the time) thought he had COVID but didn't tell any of us who were already in the house (included me, my sibling, and my grandma) until my mom got home around noon. He was walking around and making coffee and doing things,...

Yeah, I won't be making any rockets. Paint is also iffy.
But I like writing! I just prefer pens over pencils and it has to be any paper but the one with the weird feathery texture. That one burns :(

I've started therapy about a year ago, and I've noticed a lot of my behaviors don't match up with my parents or the people around me. I've known I was odd for a long time, and I know I am, but I don't know why that is. As a kid, I had very specific interests and habits that didn't line up with what ...
