I heard that Specialisterne, a Danish IT company, were planning to open a factory in central Scotland to employ mainly autistic people, but I've not heard anything of it yet. |

Hi,
I put this job vacancy (aimed primarily at people on the spectrum) on my magazine's website a few days ago, and wondered if there was anyone interested in applying for it.

Hi everyone, I'm going to be speaking at the next meeting of the Kaleidoscope Forum for Autistic students and other members of the Autistic community. The speech is about the magazine I do, which I've plugged on here with little success. More info about the meeting here: http://aspiremag.org.uk/news... |

I might go, but transport is an issue, as I don't have a car, and it takes a long time for me to get from Leeds to somehwere just outside Bath.
I'll look into it over the next week or so |

I've been to their past two meetings, but tbh, I'd rather be involved in a proper self-advocacy group like ASAN, and one that's non-hierarchical. Hopefully something will pop up from the magazine I've started

I've thought of setting up a Yorkshire equivalent of LARM, as we really need one up here, but don't know enough people to set one up just yet.
Solidarity and that,
