Ok, what are NTs? please excuse my stupidity!
I don't really understand what a 'social lie' would be, but I'd imagine its to protect someone's ego or another's feelings. So I don't really have an answer, I'm afraid. |

fairly normal in the 'nuclear family' sense. I have a hubby and 2 kids. Here's the twist - we live with his parents (plenty of room for us with the house's layout though).

"Grow up!" No, I'm not going to grow up. I'm not giving up on my older children's movies, especially the animated ones, and I will not stop buying my toy Routemaster replicas. You grow up and realize that some people with AS, might be childlike, but it's usually the NTs who are childish! I don't wa... |

I guess I wouldn't change much either, but I might understand my family better, which would be worth it. |

hi there,
Is there anywhere I can go that would have parents WITH Aspergers/autism, as I can't seem to find any to talk to
Still happy to chat to you guys though, was only wondering. I don't mean parents who have autistic kids (though I don't mind talking to them either).
^_^ Sorry! |

I'm sorry, I can't seem to grasp this idea. I don't really understand it, but I've never been one for deep thought. My partner is deep and meaningful, but I can't seem to get into those thoughts. I'm stuck in the everyday stuff that is in our conscious (go to work, clean the kitchen etc). I don't re... |

I have to quit to look after them :( as working isn't really good for us because I'm needed at home more than we all thought. This is really hard for me to take, as I love my job and they don't want me to quit. The... |
