If it doesn't happen this month I'll fork over the $800 and get her tested elsewhere.) I found a home here at wrong planet ye...

yeah. . . . Although with me it is sending e-mails I shouldn't. Perhaps I would do better to keep a notebook and write everything in there and then no one ever has to know and I would get it all out. Everyone has their thing. I find that people seem to be ok with me forgiving their things but don't ...

Wow! These are a lot of great, helpful suggestions.

Thank you! I really appreciate it and I will check out the links as well. I realize AS is different in girls. :) Between that and the year it was actually recognized, there was no way I had a chance to get help as a kid.

I guess freak outs are different for different people. But I was referring to doing things more out of anger and fear than being rational. Generally I regret anything I said and did later, and as I said--it is rare that I ever do things like that. I suppose telling someone to quit e-mailing could be...

Anyone else here ever lose control over a freak out and wish they could take everything they did back? I don't freak out often--I am told I am a pretty laid back type of person; many people tell me I am mellow and some even the most mellow they have ever met. I think the reason why I lose it is due ...

My husband and I are going through a divorce and we will all be doing family counseling and will take my daughter to a psychologist. I do not have an official diagnosis of AS, but really feel I have it. Now, my daughter, I am unsure and am hoping for some answers. Her symptoms are zoning out and int...

Thanks, Ann. I appreciate that.

Unfortunately I should have read more first and done things a little different. I am still waiting to see if he is even going to communicate with me at all now. I wish he could see the good in himself but I suppose that is part of him he still needs time to get.

Thanks Suebear. Perhaps I should have mentioned that he chose to ride his motorcycle here and lost it in Nevada. Then he hitch hiked/walked most of the the rest of the way here with a bus ride. He had his life shipped here in boxes that I must now send back. He put a lot into it too.

Thanks for the reply. I am not burning any bridges. If you are referring to the apartment, I cannot afford it so I don't see the point of me living there. Honestly I am more worried about if he burned any bridges.
