I don't wear anything other than high merino wool content hiking socks, they are a lot thicker and fit much more comfortably than the elasticky cheap socks you get in supermarkets, particularly because they don't squeeze your feet nearly as much. And they last forever, I have pairs that are a decade... |

I have got the "no enthusiasm" feedback in the past as well. First of all, if you have a monotone voice or flat affect, try and practice speaking and emoting more like an NT if you can at all, I naturally have a very muted affect when I'm stressed and I come off as robotic, most NT intervi... |

I hate teams, what's even worse than the dots or the "x is typing" message for me is having to stare at yourself in meetings. There's an option to hide your own camera feed, but it doesn't actually hide the feed, it pushes half of it down out of sight, so you can still your forehead and ey... |

I've been ruminating on this a little bit lately as well. Its not the actual dying alone that bothers me, at the end everyone is more or less alone. Its the long years of loneliness leading up to death, in old age, when the few people that I am close to now have passed away, am I just going to be wh... |

Why not buy something in the town you live in but put a cap on your time there? Does it make it easier to think about staying in your town if you knew it was only going to be a couple of years? It does, but I feel like I've been doing that for most of the last decade, I've been living at home since... |

I'm in a weird spot right now and I'm looking for advice. My Background: 29, UK, low wage public sector job, tried to move abroad at one point, f****d it up, came back when I was 20 and started renting here, living with parents after moving back into my family home at age 24 to save for a mortgage. ... |

I am in the fortunate position of finally being able to actually afford a mortgage and move out of my parent's home, having moved back pre-pandemic to start saving for one. I feel like I need to do this as my life isn't really going anywhere living at home, and I am getting increasingly aggravated w... |
