I was diagnosed with Asperger’s when I was 7, so almost 30 years ago. So when they took it away, it was a huge loss of identity as I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have that label. It’s still my go-to label when I’m describing myself to people because it describes me very effectively. Yes, any ...

It’s probably worth it if it allows you to go the supermarket more easily. Just be careful if you go outside wearing them where there’s traffic

Yeah, I wish they’d kept Asperger Syndrome as a separate diagnosis. Hopefully they will bring it back.

You’d think things would be better regarding benefits because during the pandemic people who’d never been on benefits suddenly were. So you’d think support for benefits would have increased across the nation but this seems to not have happened.

So basically people on benefits or pensions can f**k off.. The tories in the Cameron era did a good of demonising people on benefits as part of their Austerity measures. Unfortunately, a lot of the electorate still have attitudes against people on benefits. Perhaps as a tactic, Labour has to tone d...

No, you didn’t offer a constructive argument to my claim. You just engaged in sarcasm. If you had knowledge of Autism, you would know that many Autistics struggle with it. I could tell you that I have a PhD in Autism and you’d still discount it because you’ve decided I’m just a rando on the interne...

Most of these celebrities don’t actually have it. They have personality disorders misdiagnosed as Autism. Of course they couldn't possibly be autistic, some rando on the internet claims they don't. Of course their doctor can't diagnose anything properly, you gotta trust some rando on the internet. ...

Celeb attention = new roles + money Ironically I mentioned her earlier without knowing anything about this release Maybe I’m psychic lol Yes, Autism seems to have become very fashionable, and is a good way for celebs to garner attention. Most of these celeb...

A disorder, definitely. I have ASD Level 1 and I need a substantial amount of support, so I don’t see how it can be called anything other than a disorder. The difference narrative is also extremely unhelpful in a political context, such as forcing government to support Autistic people. The UK govern...

Narcissists are also less likely to reciprocate when a group mentality is necessary for things like life or death situations; I've known different people with both traits and I have to say, the self-interested psychopath who knew I increased their chances of surviving dangerous situations we were i...

Yes, and psychopaths are able to use anger instrumentally. Even if they don’t feel anger, they sometimes fake anger in order to get what they want.
