Oh also, this is kinda pseudo-science but I notice when talking in a group of three people, if they’re feet are angled towards you, they like you and want you in the conversation — if both people’s feet are facing away from you, you are not desired in the conversation. Take that with a grain of salt...

Lead the conversation with questions about their life or interests and if they mention something you can add onto or if you have a related story — tie into that.
