I have been correctly fitted but it doesn’t help very much.

Bras and shoes - things that must be put on before leaving home. So far I have better luck finding non-home places I can take my shoes off.

I put this here because it didn’t really belong in dating - I’m not the one dating, and it didn’t really belong in parenting because my kid is the NT. But my NT adult kid is dating a “high functioning autistic” person and we just had a really long phone conversation about the relationship that for t...

When I was dating Dh he was 5’10 and a bit. My mom was 6’ tall. They would both tell people they were 5’11. So it was very funny to me to see them next to each other.

I tell people my son is 6’ tall and he says “no I’m not.” He actually measures 5’ 11 7/8” barefoot.

Democracy, republic (our actual system), monarchy, constitutional monarchy, facism, totalitarianism, theocracy oligarchy, etc are government systems. Our current government passes laws and taxes that favor capitalism. They could also not do ...

Small things like drains, toilets, and sinks drain in the way they are designed to drain by shape and water flow. Large things like storms spin in opposite directions.

There is a difference between a drag performer and a transsexual. A drag performer is a male with a female “character” persona. - mascot story time, storybook character story time, clown story time (ok, that might be too scary) A transsexual is a person who feels that their gender does not match the...

No, your attitude doesn’t change the situation, but if you can’t change the situation, you may need to work on your attitude - accepting, adapting, coping. How are you trying to figure out what they are looking for? Maybe ask some questions? Do you have any male friends whose gfs would give you some...

There are still people on this earth carrying water in jars and cooking over firewood. You live in the USA so you can make whatever style of life you want. I have an iPad and a flip phone. So far the only tech I’ve been forced into is two factor identification. You can opt out of parts of life that ...

If the service dog is a genuine need it can go to school with you. That would kind of be the point. The school is not allowed to say no.

Still undiagnosed Started as a joke, my daughters gf kept saying I was autistic. Then I mentioned to another teacher that I always seem to like the autistic kids best and she said “that’s because you’re autistic.” Silence. Other teacher “what? You didn’t know that?” Then I had a girl in my class who...

What is irritating you? Can you change either the situation or your attitude? What are you looking for in a woman? What is THAT woman looking for in a man? Become that, or change your expectations. Where are those women? (Locations like church or bars or rec centers, or activities like service proje...
