I think it's always better to know. I was the one who had desire to fit in and never knew why it wasn't working. I recently started a new job and it's going better than I expected. I don't tell people I'm autistic but I guess management told them. As I'm a blogger I can't request to keep things priv...

I am just reading the 'How to win friends and influence people' and apparently every human being has the need to feel important. What do you think about it? I definitely have that need, and it's not sufficiently met at present, but I thought that was only a side effect of being wronged by people for...

I don't have that many social difficulties now because I avoid situations that could be problematic and resigned in terms of making friends. When I didn't know I was autistic and wanted to be like other people, that was awful. Still, I don't think limiting my life is a great choice but I guess this ...

I will be 45 in two weeks and live in the UK but I was brought up in rural Poland. Surprisingly enough there was a girl in my primary school diagnosed with Asperger's but she had no friends and never spoke with other kids on break while I did. Then, in my early 30s I read an article about a woman di...

My boyfriend is actually a reason why I found out I'm autistic. We met on dating website and he told me he's awaiting autism diagnosis so I started reading about it.

Unfortunately we don't live together and I don't know when it can change for various reasons but I'm so happy for you guys :-)

You shouldn't be too desperate. That, and the depression, could easily turn people off, even if you were neurotypical. You need to remember that even if we have difficulties finding romantic partners due to our relationship, there are some neurotypical people who are single for years. My partner is ...

The worst was to actually let someone know that I'm interested. I can do the first stage of flirting but it never progress anywhere, I don't know how people exchange phone numbers for example. Online dating solved this probem, but brought some new too. Mind you, I overcome them snd I'm in a relation...

Having sex 3-4 times a week is not bad. I don't think just changing her for an NT model would improve things. Not trusting - I don't know what she did exactly except of going to walmart wearing a make up but engaging in cheating behaviour requires a lot of social skills, even more than finding an ac...
