I can't find any information on over-responsive proprioception, as opposed to under-responsive, but I definitely seem to have it. The way my sensory integration dysfunction (or whatever it's called these days) affects me is over-responsiveness to just about everything except vestibular. For a while ...

Hell yeah, I find masturbation to be better than sex. It doesn't mean I'm a "loser," and anyone who thinks so on the basis of my sex life is an idiot.

People used to call me a nerd. I hated it.

Then I went goth.

I agree with the two posters above me--it depends on the person. Jerks can be anywhere, and they can be anyone, regardless of their neurological state. While I'd like to think most aspies would've grown beyond jerkitude, given that the world deals a lot of crap to "unusual" people, I guess this isn'...

I'll be chilling downstairs by myself, eating chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks while watching Pulp Fiction. I rented it...I've been wanting to see it for a while. Upstairs my mother and her boyfriend will be having dinner together and watching a different movie. I'm feeling a little reclusive t...

Yes indeed, I do. I am not comfortable with having people too close, unless I am very familiar with them--and then, only some people. Crowds, elevators, packed movie theaters, lines at the food court...I don't like those at all. Even when I'm practicing driving, I get uncomfortable when a car is wit...

Oh, whatever...I guess we should all just deny the violent sides of our human nature and then everything would be oh-so sparkly and perfect! Because as we all know, repression of natural instincts is the healthiest thing ever.

Not.

Like many above me have said, this study is very flawed.

What do you do that's "cutesy"? That's the problem. Almost nothing. Okay, so sometimes I have a stuffed animal who I have with me (it's a long and sordid story,) but he's usually in my messenger bag at all times. Other than that, I do not know why people look at me as being childlike--which is why ...

First of all, hi. I'm new here. Here's something which has been bugging the heck out of me for a while now--it seems like a lot of people in my life have either seen me as cutesy/quaint/childlike/insubstantial or dangerous/deranged/scary, because I'm autistic and I also have Tourette's Syndrome (tho...
