I pray to God, for the sake of the world, that the American people do not get what they have just asked for.
I've nothing more to say. |

Can we please let's not keep calling it 'skepticism'?
I mean, if someone gets caught with his hand in the till and claims he wasn't stealing, we wouldn't say he was being 'skeptical' about it, would we. |

PETA is one of those organisations which takes an otherwise noble or worthy cause, and then drives people away from it by advocating for it in the ugliest and most self-centred ways it could possibly think of. Other examples of the same syndrome, in my opinion, are Just Stop Oil and SPUC. |

If it's not true, then why do I not feel this sense of urgency to get everything out of this life time? Maybe you just haven't swallowed the propaganda that everybody should work their butts off to achieve their absolute maximum potential. I'm 60 and I'm so glad that all the BS about 'potential' is... |

As a small kid I wanted to be a footballer, spaceman, spy, etc. As an older kid I never had any ambition. As a 'bright' kid, most of my energy was spent fighting for the right to a normal childhood. I was never given any career guidance or advice. It was simply assumed that I was going to become an ... |

Hi James! Hi. Sorry I took so long to come back. If your plan is to retire soon, what are your plans to gain money? You mean, after I retire? Hopefully I won't have to. I'm lucky enough to have bought my own house when that was still possible. I've put money aside into pensions for a while now. So ... |

I'm one of the fortunate autistic people who is able to understand sarcasm at least some of the time.
I choose not to use it around other autistic people, because they may take it literally, and that may lead to confrontation. |

Airports are a nightmare for autistic people. What saves me is the departure board; as long as I'm within sight of one, I can put my headphones on and zone out, knowing that I won't miss my plane. Otherwise I just make sure I'm in control as far as possible, and keep all processes linear, making sur... |

At an airport near me, you drive in via an automatic gate that reads your licence plate. When it recognises you have pre-paid, it opens and lets you in, without issuing a ticket. From there to the terminal, you are bombarded with electronic billboards at roadside and on the shuttle bus, reminding yo... |
