Thanks for all your responses. My GP just received the letter for me to be referred for an autism assessment. We will see what happens.

Hi Mountain Goat and Jimmy M. Yes it's a brief test, but the clinical psychologist spent a lot of time with me. And I have a 13 year history attending mental health services as I had a psychosis once in 2010 and later in 2020.

I am not diagnosed with autism, but two years ago I had a clinical psychologist tell me I needed an assessment for it because I scored quite high on an initial assessment for it. I can't remember what it was called. Maybe AQ10? The referral may not have been made by them or got lost in the process. ...
