I'm allergic to sulfates, so what soap I use is primarily dicated by that. It's very hard to find any sort of soap, shampoo, or other cleaning product without them, so I usually have at most two choices and try to pick the least strong-smelling of those. Partly because of the allergy, but also becau...

I do tend to get really stuck on an interest when I'm stressed and spend all my free time on that rather than switching back and forth a bit like I normally can. It's always something I've already been doing a lot of, and usually whichever special interest I've been into the most at the time anyway....

I've only been to a karaoke bar once, when people insisted on going there after opening night for a show I was in. It was an awful experience for me, but that's mainly because it was extremely loud and I had nowhere to hide, so I sat there with my fingers in my ears the whole time except for when I ...

I got 142 of 200, 99% probability of being atypical (autistic/neurodiverse). I believe that was very similar to what I got when I took the previous version of the test, and the graph also looks similar. I don't still have the old results saved, so I can't compare directly. I found answering question...

I really enjoy travelling on the one hand, but on the other hand I also often find it stressful. I love trains and riding on trains, but it's easy for problems to add up, especially if I have to travel alone or can't get a seat next to the person I'm travelling with. I get badly thrown off by proble...

I've been (re)playing Pillars of Eternity lately, as well as playing Guild Wars 2 and The Elder Scrolls Online. I recently finished a replay of Neverwinter Nights. I'm also practicing up Lime Rock Park in iRacing for the GT Sprint Series, but I may end up switching a week ahead to practicing Fuji in...

Thank you all for the welcome! Welcome to WP! I think you can find some nice chats here. And quite a few folk here will report that getting a diagnosis explained so much for them. In my case, I was diagnosed when I was 64 (others here have been diagnosed later!) and was very happy to finally get so ...

Desktop / full PC for most things. Certainly for gaming; I'm far more comfortable with a full keyboard and mouse, and although some gaming laptops are powerful, those tend to run hot and have low battery lives. Even in the case of sim racing, where I'm using a wheel and pedals almost all the time an...

Hey everyone! :) I was officially diagnosed with ASD level one in November last year, but prior to starting that process at the beginning of 2022 I had been wondering for many years why I seemed to have so much more trouble with certain things (especially social and dealing with changes) than most p...
