On the topic of weird compulsions: I once saw a tv show on a bridge they were building in japan and they said they were using enough cable to wrap around the entire planet. Then I imagined actually tieing a rope or cable around the entire planet. Then I started laughing hysterically for several days... |

Whenever I have to smile for a picture I always think that I am smiling but when I see the picture I am actually not smiling at all. Either that or I have this sort of goofily grotesque overly contrived grin. Also a girl in my spanish class said that she would amuse herself by watching all of the re... |

If you are looking for a job or looking for an employee or business partner, post your needs in this thread. I was thinking that there are a lot of people on this forum who could be very successful in a job or task but don’t get the chance to because we don’t have the ability to actually... |

I think the only time I ever use someones name when talking to them is if I have to yell to get their attention and they aren't the only person around. Otherwise, never. I think it is the exact same concept as looking someone in the eye. Too real, too personal, overwhelming. I can see how using nick... |

I feel like I'm on both ends of that spectrum but not at all in the middle. My problem is moderation. There is a subconscious talent among normal people of building up personas and facades and levels of interaction so they can regulate thier personal involvement in a situation. I was never able to b... |

'I like my women like I like my coffee: ground up and in the freezer.' Thats not an aspie pick up line...thats a Jeffrey Dahmer pick up line! 8O I didn't know who came up with it originally, but I like it. Well I'm pretty sure Jeffrey Dahmer didn't actually come up with it. He is a little more famo... |

I don't think the properties of the saw matter all that much, it's all about orientation: which saw you saw sawing. If one saw is moving (relative to the other saw) parallel to the orientation of its teeth then it will be the one doing the sawing even if the sawing saw is a worn out old wood saw and... |

I tried to drop out at the start of my last year of High School but they had a program they were testing out, mostly for pregnant girls and such, where you get your assignments for the whole semester and then study on your own and report your minimum progress at a weekly meeting. It was perfect. So ... |

granted but the loss of an antagonistic two party system destroys the balance of greed and then Democrats use thier new uncontested power to slowly erode the constitution giving the oligarchs who infest the upper echelons of the party unlimited power to turn the US into a dictatorship which then has... |

Are you sure? I can see that he'd be hurt or whatever from your comments if he thought you were friends, but I'd think it's normal for people to just feel neutral about most people. At least that's how I am, unless they do something to specifically change how I think about them. Well, I suppose I h... |

This wasn't really the first time I noticed that I was different but when I was in 4th or 5th grade I was trying to explain to one of the many friends of who I considered to be my only friend that: "I don't like you but i don't dislike you either." This (I thought) perfectly reasonable stance was bo... |

Who doesn't like a little alliteration? Umm. I started writing this because, well I don't exactly remember why. Now I don't think I have anything to say. I will continue on anyway. This is my first post. I found this site a couple days ago and have been voraciously lurking ever since. I wanted the t... |
