Debatable premises in the post, yes, but they could be taken for granted ("according to some literature") for the sake of the opportunity to analyze the questions. |

Suppose that in your society the vast majority of professional spaces related to education, training, politics and human resources are occupied by autistic people, and that from their roles they, consciously or unconsciously, share and transmit their way of seeing, feeling, interacting with and unde... |

I would define someone as my friend if I could contact them randomly to say hi (for example send a text message) without it seeming strange. I am friendly with my work colleagues but they are probably not my actual friends because I would never just text them to say hi I can’t find a counterargumen... |

Welcome to Wrong Planet There is the double empathy theory that unlike what you read does not put all the blame on autistics. Milton’s ‘double Empathy Problem’: A Summary for Non-academics Currently, Autism is classified as a diagnosable ‘neurological disorder’. Most non-autistic people think of Au... |

Hello everyone. I’ve read opinions on various pages and in some books (from non-autistic people) that claim it’s difficult to befriend someone with autism. To me, that seems like an exaggeration, and it’s highly subjective. I’d like to know what you think about this topic, and I’ll ask directly: How... |

Thank you for writing in this post. That comment felt a bit harsh. I should be a bit more explicit then: * Regarding whether or not to have a condition, I read in an introductory WP post that it is not necessary to have autism to participate and be part of the forum community. Moreover, the invitati... |

Hello. I read a post on WP (which I can’t find now) where it was asked if anyone had made friends here. Frankly, I haven’t been able to, but I’ve read several comments here and I have wanted to know the people who have written them, at least through messages. I’m 30 years old, I’m not autistic, I ca... |

If this is a Wrong Planet, where social life is structured from neurotypicality, what would a planet be like, a social order (if the term fits), in which autistic neurodivergence (I know that under those conditions it would no longer be called divergent) predominates in social life? |

Although I am not autistic, I know that I have certain social difficulties, but I have been able to live my life up to this day. Here on this website, they shared two online tests with me and it turns out that I am NT; however, in the hypothetical case that the opposite result came out, if in the ge... |

I’m not sure OP is as profound as he believes he is. In OP’s example, if the NT person had asked the same question of another NT person and received the same response, the questioner would have judged the NT respondent the same way he judged the autistic person. The questioner was not judging the p... |

Let's say an NT presents an autistic an array of desserts and asks which one the autistic thinks is the best, because the NT is choosing a dessert for a party they intend to host. If the autistic concludes objectively that all the desserts presented are equally palatable and equally suitable for th... |

I have moved this post to a different category so that it may have a different reception. Although the word philosophy is mentioned, this post does not deal exclusively with that but is mainly related to autism. In this post, even though it mentions the word philosophy, I don’t want to fuel a discu... |

Hello. I made this post to talk with people who have received a comment from someone they know saying that they could be autistic, or who have suspected themselves that they could be, but decided not to go through a psychological evaluation process or any kind. I would like to know your reasons and ... |
