Try Slitaz. When I used it it was completely from ram and it only used about 90-100 meg when on the internet. Also I should mention that the computer I used it on was a 500Mhz PIII

Is the folder in the programs directory deleted? And it's probably storing data under the appdata (or some similar name) folder in the user folder (c:\documents and settings[user]\your username) so just delete that, it will be named the same as the program

Fedora 11 has a tool like gparted and worked for me called Palimpsest Disk utility (under system tools). However it would be really easy to get gparted on the live CD, all it should take it a "yum install gparted" command. Hope that helps.
