Temple Grandin seems to have an overly limited conception of autistic thinking, and also doesn't get that the majority of people in general are visual thinkers. She used to say all autistics were visual. Then she upgraded to three types. But there are really more types and combinations of types tha...

Pretty much anything can be therapy --- if it develops and hones skills, all the better. :) I just started getting back into exercising again after ages. I use them for just about everything - to remind me when the next stage in cooking is ready, to remind me the laundry is done, and also I restrict myself with my cleaning --- only a certain amount of time every day so that i don't get burned out. Lighter cleaning ...

I posted months and months ago (around December, I think) that I was teaching myself to make jewelry. I'm still working on technique, but I'm really enjoying it! I now have a store :D --- http://rampionrampage.etsy.com. Most recent project was commissioned through a friend of a friend. I was literal...

this is one of the reasons i tend to avoid social situations where things like that can happen. friend of mine texted me recently at 3am. she was having a bit of a breakdown about her grandmother, who passed some months ago but she'd come across some items that reminded her of the loss. the loss of ...

it mainly becomes a crime if someone's parents finds out and presses charges.
not advocating clandestine affairs with sixteen-year-olds, but girls' parents tend to freak out if their kid is having sex at all. being able to press charges is just a bonus. especially if they don't like you.
