Just got my diagnosis a week ago at 35 years old, although I have been pretty sure for about 10 years. Never had a boyfriend, pretty much no friends, was bullied in junior high and high school

I am from Mansfield, Ohio and have been having the same problems finding Aspie groups or something like it. Maybe someone should start an online group.

Managers have been really helpful--most of the time. Otherwise I would not have lasted. It has helped me a little, but it's just too much. I would leave if I could find another job, but not so easy. Speaking of which, I have to go there now. :roll:

I like to set up the displays and I would rather be in the back room but they won't put me back there. Most of time it's okay but sometimes get close to a panic attack like when on register.

I also have struggled for years and then heard about AS and more and more just keeps falling into to place. It was like a big light bulb over my head like in cartoons. Just got unofficial diag. last year, at 26 (27 now). I could have used this info in high school!
