Rather yes.
I have PDD-NOS and some schizotypal and paranoid traits.
The past few years I have also developed very brief lasting but frequent visual hallucinations and illusions (but they don`t frighten me bc I have insight in them) and I see a lot of (face) pareidolias for some period of time now.

I don`t take any of these medications, so the cause for the bruising problem is not clear. My liver is healthy too and my coagulation numbers are pretty normal. I only take a small amount of mirtazapine for better sleep I am sorry that you experienced a stroke, I luckily haven`t as it seems. My phys...

Okey but the copper issue is more complicated than deficiency and toxicity (don`t want to sound smartass, as most people don`t research about it. An issue I can totally understand if one is not affected.) I don`t have anemia or other low blood cell counts, but I have easily bruising (with normal coa...

I also can`t visualize very well, despite the fact that I frequently have visual illusions, brief hallucinations and vivid dreams I often can remember quite well.

I also identify a bit with mild psychosis. Schizotypal disorder and (mild) or prodromal schizophrenia was one of my suspected diagnoses for the past ten years. But it never fulfilled all the criteria. I always had anxiety, OCD symptoms and a little proneness to paranoid and magical thinking since ch...

I have always been a speed reader and speed talker and also started reading, talking and writing earlier than most other children. First they thought I may have nonverbal learning disorder (NVLD). But I didn`t have clumsiness and spatial reasoning problems as a child and on the other hand special in...

...and don`t have Wilsons disease (but indeed many brain symptoms are very similar) ?

I am curious if there are other people out there?

I have PDD-NOS and in early adulthood a mix of other psychiatric and later also physical neurological symptoms have appeared.

@Double Retired I know that my intelligence quotient is not that bad or worrisome, is just a bit below the average adult person, who has around 100. But I have scored around 115 (general IQ) when I was a child. That is slightly above average. So many people (including myself) have always thought tha...

@jimmy m Thank you for your reply. You describe a lot of the issues I experience. I have never thought that autism and PDDs are more common in males than in femals, so I have learnt something new. Interestingly I have never had gender identity problems, but I also have never felt typically female or...

Hi all. (This will be a bit long, but maybe there is even someone out there who has a similar story). I am 36, female and I have a diagnosis of PDD not otherwise specified. I was diagnosed as an adult and I am a complicated case in general. Some of my behaviours fit in an Asperger`s diagnosis (like ...
