I joined recently, and have stuck around because of how simple and easy to navigate the forum is, along with the nice people to interact with--I like the old school look and feel! ʅʕ•ᴥ•ʔʃ I find myself getting annoyed by a select few posters, but I'm pretty good at ignoring them (for the most part)...

Welcome to the Wrong Planet!

I like your username! The Hash Slinging Slasher episode of SpongeBob used to scare me as a kid, but it is hilarious now as an adult!!

I hope you enjoy your time here ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ

At work and in public I am definitely a covert stimmer, unless I am in distress. I subtly do a lot of rubbing my hair, rubbing my pants, rubbing my fingers together, touching my lips, picking my skin and nails, tapping surfaces, using fidget spinners, etc. At home I am absolutely very vocal and vis...

Does Sudoku count as a puzzle? My favorite puzzles are Sudoku, escape rooms, and escape room-esque video games. If you're talking about Jigsaw puzzles, I like those too! We have a puzzle table, but our cats really like "helping" and stealing puzzle pieces. I like putting together cat puzzl...

I would love that!! !

I've been playing DnD every Wednesday for a couple of years. I'd be interested to see how a forum DnD group would look and play out! ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ♡ ֶָ֢ ֗ ₊

It takes a lot of trying, a lot of motivation (and loss of motivation) a lot of failure, and some small successes along the way. Celebrate the small things when you can. Even if it's just going outside for a walk, putting in a job application, or trying something you don't usually do. Have you tried...

Small talk definitely isn't my favorite thing to do. I have to put on almost a customer service mask to get through it. I also have to prepare/memorize internal and/or external scripts. I will also write down topics to talk about sometimes. I've noticed that people like when you ask them questions a...

That does sound stressful...ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ It sounds like this trip is out of your comfort zone. Have you communicated any of your worries with these friends? I wonder if they would be understanding, or willing to talk you through the plans for the trip. Maybe communicate that you have sensory issues and m...

I'd say that's a stim! It's a repetitive behavior (which is the basis of a stim) that feels good to you! I do a lot of stimming with paper as well--I like to bend paper between my fingers when I am reading, and run my fingers between the pages at a specific angle repeatedly (feeling the texture), an...

Oh my god this is disgusting. It's sad that I'm not surprised at all that this has happened. ʕ – _ – ʔ It's Oklahoma, what do you expect? Their Education secretary, Ryan Walters, appointed Chaya Raichik (founder of "Libs of TikTok", and doesn't even live in OK) to the state board of educa...

I've wondered this as well. I've seen some old posts revived, but have been too hesitant to revive any myself.

I say why not--better to ask for forgiveness than permission, I suppose hehe. Maybe if you start reviving some posts, I will do the same.
