Forget the drummer, I march to the sound of a different marching band altogether. Well, sometimes. I'm 56 and never been married, no kids. Heck, I didn't start dating until I was 42. My girlfriend is 21 years younger than me. When I've been on dating sites, my handsome mug (my profile pic at WP is a...

I don't wish I wasn't autistic. There are some things I do (like my stims) that I was taught to hide most of my life. But ever since I discovered I'm autistic (and looking for an actual diagnosis) I've come to realize that's just part of who I am. I think my girlfriends would agree. They've never sa...

1. We lived in the same apartment building. We were part of a trio that hung out and played games. She kept dropping hints. Finally I asked her out at the ripe old age of 42. Some of us are late bloomers. 2. The same apartment building. She dropped hints too. 3. Online site. She messaged first. (Not...

That was an interesting video. I wonder though if the same numbers apply to dating sites as to dating apps . I've never used a dating app but I've been on a few different dating sites. The first one didn't work out so well. With the next few though, holy mama. I got tons of likes and a number of mat...

Frankly I wouldn't worry about what "society expects". Society is a group; you are an individual. I wouldn't have made a good father when I was younger. Like you, I just couldn't have handled everything that goes into parenting. For me to have had a child anyway wouldn't have been fair to ...

Anything based on a John Grisham novel.
Most movies with Sandra Bullock. (I love The Lake House and The Blind Side though.)

I had a few episodes of this on VHS tapes. It's a great show. I have to say my favorite character is Kryten. There are so many great lines that are worth repeating. Remember folks, don't heat the gazpacho.

Frankly search engines are nothing like they used to be 25 years ago. Back then you could refine your search using + and - terms. For example, if you wanted to look up things about eagles but ignore any results about the Philadelphia Eagles you could type "eagles -philadelphia". Now search...

I've been playing Klondike since I was little. I finally figured out the optimum way to play. Now it's almost too easy. If I follow my strategies it's almost mechanical. Great for killing some time, especially when I play Microsoft Solitaire, but it gets boring. Anybody else feel this way?

I play some city building games but never really cared for SimCity. Now that I quadrupled the RAM in my computer I need to give Imperium Romanum another try.

I've only been to Las Vegas once but I had a good time. I played video poker in each casino I went into. I'm pretty good at that. In fact, at the Flamingo I doubled my money. OK so I only went from $5 to $10 but when you're betting a quarter at a time that's pretty darn good. I like to play the game...

That's why I've taken to the written word. Whether it's my books or my poetry I can say things in writing exactly the way I want to. Being able to edit my work is a godsend. In person I can't always say what I mean and sometimes feel foolish.

I'm going to have to go a little different here and say the Lockheed C-130J Super Hercules, aka The Herky Bird. Pretty much if you can get it in the cargo hold, it will fly it. That thing is HUGE!
