I have something called Audacity, but I think that's actually a ripper....

Audacity is a sound editor, actually, and you can also do simple mixing with it.

I highly recommend foobar2000 (http://foobar2000.org). And if you have a hardware MP3 player, take a look at RockBox (http://www.rockbox.org), which is open source firmware.

Someone named Foresam wrote the 1st letter claiming Amanda Baggs went to Simon's Rock College in 1994 when she was 14. Simon's Rock College is located in Great Barrington in Southwestern Massachusetts. It is unique in the fact that it will admit students who have finished the 10th or 11th grade who...

Remember: John Savage (conservative 'shock jock') just recently slammed autistics and hard in a public format. This is not any different (ie: John Best). Be leery of those uninformed.

It's Michael Savage, actually, but I agree with your point. Best even defends Savage on his blog.

OK, as a friend and ally of Amanda's, who has known her in both the physical and virtual worlds for several years, I have to respond to this with several comments. 1. Anyone who gives the blog mentioned by the OP any credence is making a huge error. John Best is full of hate and anger, and has long ...

Good to see a relative, presumably (the above poster). Newspaper story I found today-interview with Neurodiversity.com site creator, from Concord (N.H.) Monitor-prompted by mention of it in the New York magazine article: http://www.concordmonitor.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080427/FRONTPAGE/80...

She's wearing her favorite Achewood t-shirt, with a picture of Roast Beef and the motto "What we need more of is science!".

You should consider the credibility, and the possible motivations, of the people who make those claims.

What's ridiculous is that a judge actually went along with a subpoena of Kathleen due to some sort of crackpot conspiracy theory held by the plaintiffs. Actually, a judge was not involved. As I understand it, there are two kinds of subpoenas: court-issued and attorney-issued. The former probably ha...

Wow.... From what I've read it looks like it was possibly incurred by an inability to understand that the entire public will not necessarily take their side in this issue. Which is a simple matter of incompetence and lack of prior knowledge of the issue at best. At worst it's of course an intention...

I love ADOM its own way, but it's a bit too complex for me. Nethack just requires you to know how the game works, which is daunting but doable. ADOM, being even more complex than Nethack, requires you to know how the game works, and how to bend rules to your advantage. Yes, this is exactly how I fe...

I've been playing it for around 20 years. Not that you would be able to tell, since I lack the patience to get really good at it. I like it with graphics if they're not too elaborate, but I still think it's great with plain ASCII. My (aspie) kid is much more advanced at Nethack than I, and also like...

Looks like another autism0/elan_i clone, Alex.

And as I asked your sockpuppet on the AS forum, how is this relevant to anyone here?

Why don't you try being straight-forward for a change and tell us your agenda?
