I am bisexual but wish I was asexual. As far as autism goes, I don’t think there is a connection to sexual orientation.

After a life of being almost ignored entirely, could self-validation really be the answer to my problems…?

As for the romantic desire, that will likely always be there. My suggestion is to try to distract yourself from thinking about it. If you are too busy to contemplate life, it will pass you by much faster than pondering “what if?”. I spend my time with many research projects. It is painful regardles...

I truly want to say that there is nothing wrong with men (or women) going their entire lives without ever having dated, no one should be shamed for this. And yet, I cannot deny my own self-hatred for being 40 and only ever having been a rebound boyfriend, never once has a woman I have asked out said...

I really should stop accepting people's invitations to reach out when I'm depressed. Every time I do, I seem to drive them away and then I feel guilty, like I've been a burden to them all along.

I was diagnosed with Asperger’s as a child and Inattentive ADHD as an adult, which means I have little to no hyperactivity. They work well together in the right situations. As long as I am working alone with no distractions, I can pretty much accomplish whatever I hyperfocus on. One of my supervisor...

Not anymore, my ability to fall in love died years ago, not sure how long. Being ignored by women my entire life killed it. I don't blame them for it though, my issues are not their fault.

Granted, I struggle with getting to that point myself, but I've been trying to reach a point where I am happy with being single myself. I haven't dated anyone since I was 26 (I'm 40 now), and even then, she asked me out right after she broke up with her ex, and then dumped me when a guy she wanted s...

Yes. Welcome to your legacy.

Wow, I started this so long ago too. I was so young then and now I'm an old man. This is crazy!

I turned 40 two months ago. I have become very introspective since then, realizing my life is likely half over at best, thinking about things I should and shouldn't have done. But I'm glad to have made it for the most part. The only problem I have is that in late June, I had surgery to repair two he...

I feel that it is completely asinine, I don't care what you are having for lunch, or what your feelings are about the latest thing that Trump has said or done. That's all Facebook is anymore. I have better things to do with what little free time that I get these days, such as staring at a wall.
