being prepared is always a good idea. Don't let some idiots on a forum get you away from that. nobody said you had to be part of some larger "prepper" community online in order to be a prepper. I follow some prepper boards but I don't post to them.

I've never gotten much useful out of my therapists. Drugs have done a lot better for me over all. I really do feel like the basic non prescribing therapist/counselors are pretty useless and just doing a cut and paste out of a text book and counting the minutes until your session is over and not much...

I'm 100% for gun rights for everyone. although in my case I think it's best to opt out because of my mental health issues. As far as the creationism thing You're on your own with that one. I used to believe in it myself but I've come a long way since then. I really don't care what other people belie...

Don't even get me started on Obamacare. All they did was give more power to the insurance companies and mandate that you buy health insurance even if you can't afford to buy health insurance. I can't afford it so I'm still pretty much f****d five ways from Sunday. If you have no money in this countr...

Thank you to the last few guys that at least see where I'm coming from. My animals are OK but I'm very much not OK and probably wont be for a long time to come if ever. I only got to see a therapist for the first time since being in the hospital on friday. and it seems like she really doesn't give a...

Not that anyone cares but I have an update: I had a complete and total meltdown that resulted in me being in a locked psyche ward for about a week and I'm on several medications now and about to have some appointments with several doctors on an outpaitent basis. I also have a ton of paperwork and de...

I think having it become a source of income is a great idea but don't expect anyone to really accept you or your interests just because it's your job. Honestly most people hate thinking and want to avoid it as much as possible on their off time. as far as I can figure the only acceptable thing to ta...

Cool. I think what I would do next is find something to do outside the house for a while that you might enjoy at least as soon as the clothes are dry and ready to put on anyway :)

pretty much been through all of this myself. I have a towel that I haven't washed in months but I still use it anyway when I shower. Do you have a washing machine or do you need to go out to wash your laundry? I would focus on the laundry first. Just do barely enough to have one set of clothing to w...

I don't have to imagine it. This is every second of every day for me since a very young age. The only thing that even brings a ray of sunshine into my life is my animals. They are my only real friends and the only ones that haven't hurt me. More than anything though I totally understand the self hat...

I have had help before and it was only because I had a job with health insurance at the time. The minute I started using my health insurance I was pretty much slated to be laid off and it sure enough happened a few months later. it pretty much did save my life at the time but I have no health insura...

It's hard to feel you have value when every time you want to interact with people in any real useful meaningful way they tell you you are worthless both with words and actions. I've been the world's punching bag since the first day I went to public school all the way into middle age. I can pretend t...

I have come to the conclusion today that nothing I do will ever matter to anybody because in the world's eyes I am not a valid person. I'm just some freak to get rid of as soon as possible. I can't go into details for various reasons but I have an example: I work as a software developer and I just f...

I would like to be myself. but the problem with that is that most people just can't deal with it. I feel like the moment someone really gets to know me that they hate my guts. I probably know a total of 3 people that I can really be myself around. all my other friends are animals (and I much prefer ...

I can only read some facial expressions and thats when it's really obvious strong emotion that is being expressed. anything subtle I'm likely to be totally clueless about, assuming I'm looking at someones face when I talk to them, which I really hate to do.
