Amanda Baggs. Always has been, always will be. Likewise, many people from the old AutAdvo group will always have my ear. Jane Meyerding. Larry Arnold. Camille Clark. Tony & Ralph. Kassiane. So many others. Oh, and I would appreciate any news about Denise DeGraff -- lost track of her years ago, b...

I'm so sorry that no-one here will be able to help you. But I know the goodhearted folks at the Autism Speaks, Generation Rescue, Evidence of Harm, and other like-minded message boards will be more than generous! http://www.autismspeaks.org/community/forums/index.php http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EO...

"Are all AS religious?" NO. I'm gonna just copy this one right on over from that silly "indigo kids" discussion: My only interest in any form of mysticism (other than warning of the myriad horrors they routinely unleash upon humanity) is in cataloging the various classic cognitive errors and biases ...

My only interest in any form of mysticism (other than warning of the myriad horrors they routinely unleash upon humanity) is in cataloging the various classic cognitive errors and biases employed by their adherents.

The history of mysticism is a virtual taxonomy of cognitive pathology.

ALL people who are treated like dogshit by parents, peers, or society at large are more likely to commit suicide. Full stop. The only reason depression so often seems "comorbid with Asperger's" is because most of us are continually treated like dogshit. I really don't think there can be any more to ...

When used sparingly, I always liked it, and found it to be very theraputic as well, but don't do it any more. Where I live now, I no longer have access, and it's not worth the legal risks of trying to obtain it.

Meh. Too mundane, at best. Without reading the whole thing, it strikes me as either condescending, or trying waaay too hard to be all clev-var n' stuff. Clearly written for n00bs and/or BY a n00b to the spectrum. The snippet posted here promises an unduly credulous tour of the stereotypes, without a...

Hi, Dave! Great to see you here. As an old Yes / Bruford fan, when KenG pointed out your LTIA cover art, I was more than a little embarrassed that I hadn't noticed it. I hope Kathleen is doing well, and not stressing out, etc., as I would be if in her position. I think the best "defense" I could mus...

I'm surprised -- it seems this hasn't been covered here. Kathleen Seidel, creator of neurodiversity.com, has been "SLAPPed" with a bogus subpoena by dirtbag anti-vax lawyer Clifford J. Shoemaker. The demands in the subpoena include all personal and financial documents pertaining in any way to her we...
