I have no problem to understand your fear. It is very naturaly and you are probaly a very kind and sensitive person that care very much for the one that you love. If I can give any advice it must just be that you allow yourself to have thise feelings, and allow yourself to feel the lost that you hav...

The thing that threw me so badly was that he was *not* out of context. He was just arriving at work, where I see him every day. If this were a 'person out of context' situation, it would not have frightened me so much. Does this ever happen to folks when the person is within normal context, and no ...

I have it like you in many ways. When we are at the "high end" of the aspie d., life is difficult beacuse we often don`t get much understandings, even from our close ones. I have been thinking a lot on this subjec,t, and maybe it is not only because I don`t look or act steriotypical, but also becaus...

Ah, well that is the core to be an aspie. Not easy that one and I think many of us have had that experience more than once. Let us take lunch one day they will say, but proberly that is just something they just say without meaning it. Do you have some friends that shares your interests?

Jensen: Oh yes i total recognize these conditions sinceI have experenced them myself more than one time. It happens often to me, particular in shops, that I will "come to myself" outside the shop, but I have bought what I came for but I can`t remember it.

chlov: All of that dignoses that you describe is often wrongly given to AS`s. Maybe not so big surprise, because AS`s often have some of that symptoms without having many enough to be given that dignose. For example so is the ICD 10 diagnose criteria for schiotyp personality disorder very similar to...

Sad that your mother didn`t understand you and proberly made it worse. "The shout downs" that you describe I am very familar with. I think those happens when you/me come in a stressed situation and it is the brain`s to handle that situation so it will not lead to a "melt down".

Another tip I am using myself: I have observed that "normal" people in general likes very much to talk about them self. Just keep asking questions about them. As long as you appear to be interested in them they will normally just keep talking. Just put in some " Oh, I didn`t know that", " wow", "tel...

vanhalenkurtz: Yes it would be a very good idea to just think it and don`t say it. It`s hard, particular when their lazines affect the pasients and the one that is coming on next shift that have to do all that they didn`t bother to do. I would like very much to just keep my anger inside me, but I st...

I think that the most important is what you feel and think about the subject yourself. I think that the profesionals sometimes is very keen to put diagnoses on people, and let the person be the dignoses and treat the pasient as a diagnose, not a person. Anyway, in what you write I got an understandi...

I understand very well what you mean TyriOn. I am also diagnosed "mild", but in some setting I am not mild at all. I think the reason why I am diagnosed as mild is because the diagnoses came after being set in a quiet room with a doctor and replaying to both written and oral questions. And I felt th...

Yes it sounds that you have a nice work where you don`t have to be involved with co-workers. Language barrier is a very valied reason also then hehe. I understand that you don`t like the what he is doing, ignoring is proberly the best like you do. I don`t have any problems with that, but my main pro...
