That's TOTAL BullSH*T! People don't CHOOSE to be gay, they just are. It would be like me CHOOSING to be straight. I would be uncomfortable in the extreme. You can't feign sexual interest or pleasure if you don't actually feel it (I mean to yourself, not to someone else). Bisexuals feel they have a c...

I've gone into partial meltdown because of aisle changes. I become so agitated I keep repeating how much I don't like it. My partner has to keep a hand on me and keep saying "it's okay". It's an ordeal until I figure it out and get used to it. There are stores I don't go into unless it's my last res...

I was diagnosed Bipolar and ADD with a severe anxiety disorder. I didn't realize I had Asperger's until I was 40. I wish I had known what I had when I was younger. It would have made life much simpler. I wouldn't have felt like such an outcast, so miserable and confused. Now, I'm fine. I'm okay with...

There is nothing you can do. Understand that first and foremost. You are not his parent. Nor can you, on occasional visits, detract from the disfunction that holds your "friend". You need to let go. There is a terrible woman who lives beside me, and she has a young son. For a long time I felt terrib...

Dvorak typing is efficient because it reorganizes letters so that you go from one side to the other continuously. Instead of having pairs of commonly used letters together, they are placed on opposite sides so that you use both hands more evenly, this allows for faster typing. I tried Dvorak, but af...

I find this totally offensive and repugnant.

Yes, sex is a natural way to release tension, but what you are talking about is using another human being as an object. That's vile.

Unless you can purchase sex from a sex-worker who may understand you, stick with yourself.

Well, the first thing I'd like to ask is how is your daughter? The second thing is...what do you mean she has gone "back"? I am guessing that she doesn't live with you? It wasn't entirely coherent. Not all parents abuse their children. I don't hit or spank mine, and I don't verbally or emotionally a...

That sounds like something even my 12 year old wouldn't write. You sound whiney, and immature. There are ways to deal with uncomfortable situations, and if you think that letting your teeth rot out is going to be pain free...think again. Not to mention, it isn't only your teeth that suffer when you ...

Good question. Why does it matter? If you like her, and you'd like to go out with her, why not just talk to her, take her out, or hang with her. Whether or not she has Asperger's isn't really material, is it?

I'm fairly private. I might share it with my partner, but usually I'm flat. It's almost like I feel uncomfortable with that "happy" feeling that others get. I might know that it's good, but I can't participate in it.

I guess I mostly keep it to myself.

I understand what you are saying. However, I, too idolized Spock when I was younger, and managed to keep a blank face most of the time. When I get overwhelmed people usually think I'm angry, which I am not. Or they think I'm looking like I am condescending. I look aloof and disdainful. I can't help ...

Sounds like you are suffering from low-grade depression. First things first...make your bed and put away your laundry. Then tidy the kitchen and wash the dishes. The next day, tidy your living space. The day after that...take a garbage bag and throw out 30 things that you do not need in the house. E...

Okay, so from what I have read that Old Soul has posted, he feels that someone has stolen his name, is afraid someone will harm him, and is afraid to leave his room. These sound like classic signs of schizophrenia. You need to see a doctor and get on proper meds. Nothing we do here is going to help ...
