Most offices have their own politics, but they're not all bad.

I'm much happier, socially, in England (well, Central London) than I am in the United States; I understand the rules better.

I don't really have a preference. I enjoy eating out alone and I enjoy having a meal with friends.

NLD is usually caused by a structural abnormality in the brain; it's not a heritable trait and thusly it's unusual for NLD to run in families. There are other disorders/disabilities which cause similar difficulties but are not NLD.

A PIQ/VIQ discrepancy is only one necessary characteristic for NLD.

Yes, I've managed employees. I don't mind it. It can sometimes be frustrating when they don't do their jobs and you can't work with them to correct the problem.

The end of a long-term relationship can be difficult, especially if it's your first such relationship. The disturbance in routine was always a difficult thing for me, too,

If they're administered clinically, yes there's a guide. I know Baron-Cohen's clinic used to make their instruments available on their website. Your AQ score is borderline for someone with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your EQ also indicates that you might have difficulty experiencing empathy. I'm no...

I've had poor experiences with Firefox 3.5+ on Win 7. I actually switched to using Chrome on my Win 7 machine, because I get better performance (in general) than I do with Firefox.

UK law in this area is very different from what I'm used to here in the US. In my experience, an employer even asking to have copies of your medical information would be highly inappropriate. The only exception to this is usually for positions involving security clearance, large sums of money, or ch...

What you said about scripts is very interesting, even though I had never heard it referred to as scripts. For example, there are a lot of instances that I can recall where I could incorporate what I had learned before and come up with an acceptable answer. There are situations, particulary when I a...

Well, from the headline one might assume that the article is a tinfoil hat piece saying "Aspies caused the economic meltdown." In reality, the author seems to be saying "Hey, if we had more people who thought analytically and logically we might not have this problem with our economy." I find it diff...
