not meaning to be rude, but to laugh at someone's beliefs is execrable. any sincere belief should be respected for its sincerity, even if you have issues with its validity. that said... now my turn. Don't forget that a satanist is just a pissed off christian. Satanists believe in god and jesus, but ...

The point is good, and valid, and I've not really been around here long enough to know the answer, but I do have some thoughts on the issue and a bit too much time on my hands. There are phil and political issues and there are practical and personal issues around diagnosis. There are also profession...

It was a trick question. The focus was on the word belief. I bet. People who unquestioningly believe in things, without unambiguous empirical evidence would score lower on my autiferous scale. Of course people who distrust empirical evidence are even hire than those who require it... ohh. It's all t...

I avoid eye contact with people who seem to want eye contact. I don't care what people 'look like' but I do care where they're looking. Luckily my colleagues at work are pretty aspie positive, and I can literally say "why are trying to hug me... want to make me feel uncomfortable or something" or "t...

You're unclear. DO you mean old hollywood? Old in English? Black and White? My def of favourite is that you have to watch it at least once a year. But I'll go with the wider def as well ==old favs I see yearly== The Thin Man (series) Maltese Falcon Casablanca We're No Angels (bogart christmas on dev...

Fun to remember. There were no goths back then, just a congregation of the strange, so we shared across more music styles than goths would. I liked how my friend, guitarist in our band, would call us... We were an IDR band... "intense, depressive realism". The bands I listened to would never be cons...

"college" is an american term in the way you seem to be using it. In other places colleges are sub areas in universities, or are what I think you'd call "community colleges". So, I <3 university. I left it many times, but after a year or two away I kept going back. because there are rules, i can use...

Seriously, take some of the online tests. There are many aspie quizzes out there. Answer honestly as you can. There are questions as to whether this really happened as it was put out in the media. I still condemn what is purported to have been done, but it may not have actually been done like that. There's no way I could run down a moose. I've been chased by moose. I think I'd have better luck running down ...

I've always found working with queer folks to be a supportive and positive experience, and have always felt my straightness accepted, and even more so my aspiness. There's much more sexual abuse and aggressiveness from the straight community than the reverse as far as I can tell. I don't remember se...
