It's becoming clear that my symptoms of AS are becoming much more prominant as I'm becoming older. And my misunderstanding of other people, my utter dislike in public awareness, my isolation, lack of goals, relationships, perception of other people. I feel like the condition is more of a curse than ...

Drinking is good, but drinking from home is much better since it avoids the need to socialise. And occasionally my sister unsuccesfully persuades me to join her in her social gathering. Which although I enjoy the appeal of free alcohol cannot stand the people in the pubs. Not appealed by beer, altho...

I've recently been exposed to observations by people, perhaps popularity. And by observing their behaviour it seems either to be anger or non-acceptance. Or even confusion that my appearance or behaviour isn't accepted amongst the NT world. Due to financial difficulties I've had to exchange my usual...

I do keep myself undercontrol and do see myself in the place of the universe, more mature than my age perhaps. I've noticed that NT's are very conscious of other people and show it. I'm perhaps conscious but don't show it, but I do have control of myself and know myself well, including other things.

I've noticed that people react when I don't show any body language, as though they find it as a strength. I just behaave the way I feel but don't react to other people, often in a gaze and internal thoughts. If someone looks at me I just look away but apparently don't show any signs or alterations i...

I bite my nails excessively and have done since I was 13.
I no longer have nails and I bite them towards the skin, I also pick my skin on my feet, a habit?

I prefer the word addiction.

Your score: 23 A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30, you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions around their eyes. A score under 22 indicates you find this quite difficult. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- T...

I'm 24 and I've only just started getting facial hair growth, which to be honest is on a mediocre scale, random hairs without any pattern growing around my chin area. Commonly though, men in their late teens or early twenties recieve their first signs of facial pubity, and this usually turns to bear...

I certainly DO look younger, this is so strange. Are all aspies the same?? I don't have the prominent male features like other men my own age, unusual shaped skull and slim narow body. People have said I look like a younger version of 'Niles' in Frasier and 'Mike' in my family. But 'I' don't see the...

I don't have the drive. I haven't progressed in comparision to my school collegues, I was in a job that I enjoyed and it fitted well with my repetive routine. My obsessions took me away from progression, OCD also. I had no interest in looking for the high salary career, I wanted to work in science o...

I get the same nervous sensation when walking past security guards or police officers.

I'm aware they're looking at me and reading me and this makes me nervous and very self aware.

I think it's all a very interesting exercise in strictly rational logic, but doesn't take into account that at the subatomic level, both object and subject are parts of a virtual web of wave/particles and quantum probabilities. Essentially all objects and all subjects, thus all reality in any conte...

I've always been aware that colour, smell, taste, vision, sound and touch is a reality that exists in the mind, with the physical reality in a form not understood by humans. So when I came across a video on utube about Mind Dimension I was pretty pleased that someone had wanted to make this phenomen...
