@mindsigh I used to get angry too in my relationships before i met my wife. There is hope for your husband. I had to really do some soul searching and figure out that most of my anger was due to my own insecurities and inability to control everything going on around me. By the time i met the woman w... |

I've been married over 8 years now, we have 3 kids, a house, the whole nine yards. Until about 2 years ago, I thought everything was going OK. We had our issues, like any couple does, but I guess I just didn't want to see the truth. About 2 years ago my wife & I got into a huge fight and she lef... |

i was "voluntarily" commited to a psych hospital a few years back. i had attempted suicide (after i stopped taking Paxil cold turkey) but my live in girlfriend at the time found me and got me to the hosital. i was unconscious for 2 days in the ICU, but I came to and they kept me there for a few days... |

i agree with the note thing... eventually you'll have to just suck it up and talk to girls face to face, but when you are just starting out and haven't had a lot of experience in social situations like that, it's not a bad idea to do it in a way that you can express what you want to say without fear... |

I always assume the worst. When you go into a situation expecting the other person to lie and attempt to manipulate you, then sometimes they will sense that your guard is up and they will be more honest and upfront about things. Even if they had no intention of deceiving you, it doesn't hurt to be a... |

The advice I would give is this: When you are in a public place, try to watch other people talking and especially pay attention to the person listening. Try to watch their face and pick up on the expressions they make. Practice mimicking those experessions in a mirror until you are semi-comfortable ... |

Well, I was able to suck it up and put on a performance long enough to woo another company into making me an offer. Once I have it in writing I will decide how to tell my current employer, but I must have made a pretty good impression because the role they want me to take is actually a promotion fro... |

I don't know what good it will do, other than to give me a definitive yay or nay on if I actually have Asperger's or not... but I guess I want that knowledge for some reason I don't exactly understand right now. It's through my company provided EAP, and I wanted to be as vague as possible, so I told... |

Thanks for all the info! I'm already looking for other jobs, which is an added strain because if my employer found out I could be fired immediately because we have to sign "non-compete" agreements, and naturally the best chance I have for employment that won't result in a huge loss of salary is work... |

I am not sure if I have Asperger's Syndrome or not. I have been reading about it for a couple of years now, and everything I've read seems to describe my life up to this point. I always knew I was really socially inept and introverted, and that I never seemed to understand other people (and they cou... |
