I got called "lazy" because I Spent 17 hours designing an assistave device one week, and another 40 hours another week building it. What was this assistive device? A device to help me clean things becauswe I cannot do it "manuallyu" without screwing things up. Because I am not able to do it manuall... |

I'm only eighteen, and am probably in no position to be giving advice on this subject, but I think I understand your perspective. Frankly, I'm pleased by how logical you've thought out what it means to have a child. Since most pregnancies are accidental, (66% last time I checked), the parents are ge... |

sErgEantaEgis, I'm taking Canadian Law in high school, and I can tell that what you're stepfather has done is completely illegal. According to the Criminal Code of Canada, he's committed several crimes against you including; uttering threats, such as when he threatened to beat you up, level one assa... |

I've never had this problem. Fortunately, I was born the day after Christmas so everyone was broke and tired when my birthday came around. As I've gotten older, I seem to care less and less about it. For an answer as to what you're doing on your birthday, try saying that you usually celebrate with f... |

Have you been spying on me, IdahoRose? I dare say, you've described me to a T. Whenever a commercial comes on when I'm watching my shows, I am up and running around the house. It's the same thing with music videos and occasionally books. I can control it at school, but the second I'm home, I ... |

It seems like you've been doing all the right things so far. It's not a problem of motivation; extra computer time is probably the most wonderful thing an aspie can get, and you've implemented the most effective type of discipline. If your son was typical, he would have adjusted his behaviour becaus... |

Getting angry and lashing out does not make you a monster. The fact that you feel guilty proves that. We all make mistakes and say or do things that we feel terrible about after, but this does not make us bad. You should make sure your dog is okay, taking the dog to the vets sounds like a good plan,... |

I think I have a reasonable explanation for why adderall or any medication with methylphenidate in it causes increased symptoms for autistics in general. Adderall stimulates dopamine, a powerful neurotransmitter, which causes the brain to go into overdrive and communication between different parts o... |

It might be a physical condition. If you've never had sore eyes before, you shouldn't just chop it up to being sensory. It might be dry eyes. Since it's obviously causing an inconvenience to you, you probably should go to an optometrist and get that ruled out. And you should probably invest in some ... |

I've been diagnosed with ADHD along with OCD and Asperger's Syndrome (talk about a triple whammy), but I have to assume that I'm the inattentive type. To be honest, your son sounds exactly like me, which is odd because the majority of people with this type of ADHD are girls. I think it might have to... |

bananas are yellow
oranges are orange
I plug my ears at the sound
of a squeaky door hinge
Ha! Try finishing this one!
Gold is alright
but I prefer silver
Good luck with that one. |
