Both AS and AD H D, mostly resulting in me having very 'active ' AS. I was very driven and straight-forward as a child, and also very social when I felt like it (in a more or less akward way). So I was pretty much constantly running around, but in my own little world. Having eidetic memory makes the...

In the terms of Lorna Wing, as a child I was the perfect mix of the 'active/odd' and the 'aloof' group. My brother didn't speak until he was almost 4 (before that I spoke for him; told my parents what he wanted, etc.) and he also didn't interact with or even pay attention to anyone until then. That'...

Why would anyone be stupid enough to call themselves smart, while at the same time dismissing people who don't have a neurological disorder/difference of some kind? Even you must realise how stupid that sounds. In case you weren't aware of it, there are extremely intelligent NT's (you know, if that ...

Welcome to WP! :star: I'm also kind of new here. Your post got me wondering... Were you diagnosed as a child? And in what ways do people treat you 'differently'? Is it possible that, since you've had it ' all your life ', that your parents, and other people, have taught you to cope with it really we...

I've got Asperger's and I'm just about a perfect 3 on the Kinsey scale, so no preference for either sex over the other.
I do have times of being almost completely gay and other times where I'm mostly straight, though, but it all evens out in the end.

Hello, ferdiX! :D We've got the 'Gymnasium' here in Sweden, too. I never finished it, but next year I hope to get into University based on something called 'actual competence' (no idea what that's actually called in English-speaking countries?), so it doesn't really matter. Hope you finish with good...

Hi everyone! :D I'm completely new here. I'm from Sweden and I just turned 19 this January. I modified some of the questions from ture 's introduction post, simply because I'll be up all night editing this post if I try to rewrite it now. Why I'm here: Just to try and find people to talk to and shar...

Hi! Another Swede here. :D I'm also new here, and this seemed like a perfect place to introduce myself. ED: ...but I'm making a new thread instead of invading yours. Got a little excited and forgot to see how everyone else was doing it (Aspie mistake?) Oh, and sorry for ripping your questions. I hop...
