It's just not a fun time. But I can't dwell on it; it happened, it's in the past, it was crap but there's nothing you can do to change the past. I really scared myself with that meltdown though. Really, really scared myself. To the point that I think I'm going to try and find a counsellor with exper... |

Leah, if by 'natural fertility' you mean the rhythm method or one of it's ideological offspring, I strongly suggest you look up the failure rates (on a site not belonging to a branch of the Catholic church) before you depend on them. No, I mean helping people who are having trouble conceiving with ... |

I am. You know what though? (Sorry, really needing to vent). The thing that I think I'm most traumatised over is the meltdown I had prior to the surgery. I very rarely do that in public, and never to the extent I did yesterday, it was the worst I've ever been. I was just under so much pressure and s... |

I cry far too much; I have the opposite problem. I'm always crying at something. It's quite annoying. |

It's not fair, is it? But there's nothing I can do about them - I have to consider my own situation; they are not my partner and I. I'm actually considering getting into natural fertility after this experience, helping others who can't conceive for whatever reason. Life is a blessing, and I really f... |

Most people don't grasp all the different forms and variations of it. They know what autism is in its more extreme forms, so I find just saying 'Aspergers-a-mild-form-of-autism' they have a broad idea of what the disorder is but that it's a mild form of it. From their own knowledge of you, plus you ... |

I'm not on the pill, it made me incredibly ill and suicidal on top. In fact, the way my cycles are still recovering from the 'assault' on them the pill caused is, I'm sure, half the reason I ended up in that clinic yesterday. There's no way I'll ever touch anything hormonal again. On a side note, a ... |

Leah - to fundies, any woman who has sex is a ho. They're delusional; don't let it get to you. Ridiculous, and I am not a fundie. A ho is a sexually irresponsible female. Our mothers are certainly not hoes for conceiving us. I'm sorry about that comment, Leah. It was a rotten thing to say. uncalled... |

Of course he did. And it worked. Every time. No splits, no breakages, no spillages, nothing. But still I got pregnant. Nothing works every time except abstinence, simple as that. You can't assume people aren't being safe - things happen. Also, given that I'm in a steady relationship with the only pe... |

That would be great. Though I was enjoying being pregnant, knowing something was growing inside me was kinda nice. Made me feel like I had a purpose and have a purpose. It was a nice taster!
And I didn't really know it was a girl, but I know, if that makes sense. Call it gut instinct. |

Well, I did it. This morning. Physically, I feel fine. I'm exhausted though, I'm not sure whether that's from the enormous meltdown I had prior to the anaesthetic or the anaesthetic itself. I don't know if they'd have ever seen anything like that. Thank goodness I don't have to see them again, and t... |

Had contraception been used in the first place, the coathanger could have been avoided. Contraception doesn't interfere with a woman's reproductive freedom. If anything, a woman would havre greater control over her own body with the use of contraception. Don't want a baby? Use contraception. I use ... |

I'm pro-life too. I don't think anyone in the world is anti-life, except maybe murderers and psychopaths.
However, I'm also strongly pro-choice too (definitely not anti-abortion). Obviously.
I find the use of words by the anti-abortion bunch really annoying. |

As far as I know, they actually take birthdates as the date of conception in parts of China (at least, according to a Chinese friend of mine whose birthday is her conception day!).
I have my first exam tomorrow, with the scan and possible internal too... |
