I hate purses. I like clothes with pockets. I fill them up with everything I need. Probably looks clunky, but I don't care.

I, too, was diagnosed at age 56. I always knew something was not quite right, but until recently did not know what it was. I find life to be pretty lonely at times. I can pass for NT in some situations, but often not. I just keep trying to mimic the NTs, but it is a very tiring thing to not be onese...

I was a drummer, a band director and eventually a systems programmer, all guy things. I also love to fix things around the house. BTW, I used to live in Cary and Raleigh. My experience is that the better you are at what you do, the harder it is to deal with males. It is particularly difficult when y...

I am female. But lie between the sexes as far as interests and capabilities. I am able to do all those husband type repairs around the house, etc.

BTW, I think the original question was about "ratio", not ration...

I have no answer to your question. However, I have found it interesting that gays are a group who can hide their orientation from society if they choose. One cannot so easily hide other things about oneself, ones ethnicity, etc. I believe some people dislike gays because of what they are taught abou...

I started going to church again this year. It has been a God-send for me. I have met many new people and because I have almost no family of my own, they are becoming my family. I've had some traumatic things to happen recently and the people in the church were there to help me. They made me know it ...

I was diagnosed at 55. At least I now know why life is been so difficult. That is a positive. However, I often feel like I have no direction in life, either. I get really interested in a subject and learn everything I can about it. I seem to sort of move from thing to thing. I learned to paint and e...

I have had the very same questions about life. I always felt that there had to be more. Like I was missing something. Now I think it has to do with the fact that I really view life so differently from most people. Since my 20s I've wanted to know why we were put here and what our purpose was. Not th...

I think my anger is getting worse because life is just harder these days. Things seem to break more often and mistakes are made constantly that consumers have to deal with. You have to call and punch a bunch of numbers to even try to get a human being. And frankly, it seems that many folks don't rea...
