Probably not. I had a student doctor do the second half of my vasectomy. He was doing mostly alright until he noticed that I was sitting up watching. Then he got a bit queasy. hehe

Well, gee, usually I'm the first to say it, but not this time. Purple. It's ok, I'll share.

Wrong Planet has been completely abandoned, and the posts you've seen (including this one) are a figment of your imagination.

I fix electronics for a living, so you'd figure I would know better, hehehe. I don't. I'd have to say that the best one was when I was testing power output on a 5v power supply. My multimeter leads were too fat to get in to the little space where the output lugs were, so I wrapped some wire around t...

No! I will not! I went too many years without a word for what was different about me to want to give it up now. I've had the word aspie thrown at me as an insult by someone who didn't really know what he was talking about. I took the opportunity to educate him, but I didn't even have to do that. I d...

You'd think that would work, but... eh. The only thing that has ever stopped it for me was to put tape or band aids around my fingertips. That's very noticeable and incredibly difficult to explain, though.

Your fears are not completely irrational. Up until a few days ago I would have said that Asperger's is too obscure for most people to reference offhand, but I actually had it happen to me. It was an opportunity to educate somebody, though. We were talking about vision, and I ended up saying way too ...

I haven't quite figured the proper use of a semi-colon, and I use way too many compound sentences. Even when the second half isn't a complete logical continuation of the first. Oh, and sentence fragments. hehe

I'm sure many people had to have their TV's volume level at an even number, or odd, if you're... odd. Ack! Yes, to the point where if my wife was driving (had the remote) and she changed the volume I would have to have her change it ever so slightly to a number I could handle. I solved that by chan...

The healing process for molestation can be unpredictable. Maybe it's too soon to be able to assess how you feel? If telling didn't bring about the catharsis you seem to be seeking, maybe you must explore other avenues to heal, such as journaling, writing angry letters and then burning them, etc. It...

Thank you for the kind words. And thanks to leila who posted in the copy of this that I didn't realize went through. It might still be a little too soon to know how this will affect me, or if it will affect me at all. I want to be happy that he's finally getting what he deserves, but I think I'm sti...

The man who molested me for years when I was young is going to jail. I realized a few years ago that I'm permanently messed up because of it, but at the same time decided to put it out of my mind and just be done with dealing with it. I had never told anybody about what he did to me. Then when I hea...

This was a double post that I didn't realize went through. Thank you hartzofspace and aspiartist for your replies here. I thought I had edited the other copy to remove it's content, but apparently that didn't work out. It's probably better to only have one active topic on this, and the other one has...

Find something small like a tiny rock or grain of sand or a splinter of wood and roll it between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your finger. I do this all day long, and I don't think anybody has noticed me doing it yet.
