49 black male here from Washington DC. I was diagnosed with Aspergers/comorbid with ADD about a year ago. I'm sure there are others.

I agree there is a difference between solitude and lonliness. One is heavenly, the other can be hard to deal with. I think it has to do with whether you are an introvert or extrovert. First of all. Accept that you can't put off the inevitable. Otherwise you will be wasting a lot of valuble time time and energy going nowhere.
